seemed to wither and die as if Gaia herself could not hold back the
assault. Men, Elves, Dwarves and more toiled and fought to
keep the scourge from devastating their kingdoms. In time,
they succeeded. But at what cost? What price was paid?
Their lands near shattered, and uncountable lives lost. With
only the victory of pushing back the evil instead of squelching it

before the coming of the darkness. Your crossroads have
come, where you must decide what path you will walk. A
merchant. A scholar. A wielder of the arcane.
Or will you fight with hand and steel directly against the
opposition? You must decide how you will face this threat
in the world for there is no escape from the clutches.

bordering lands.

with their fellow man, men who have swept aside a thousand years of
peace and prosperity, and awoke the long slept fires of hell. The Dread Lords have come.... It is in these days that we find
ourselves living now. These that are the defining moments that will
either make us Legends, or corrupt villains. The shadow of the Dread
Lords threatens to tear the world asunder. As you go to greet this
threat, will you stand up and be counted among the righteous chosen, or
does your heart rest in darkness and malice? Will you serve the gods of
legend, or defy them and their wills? Now are the days in which the future
fate of the world is in your hands. Choose the path you wish to travel, be
